Join us in the Grand Hall of the Temple for Performing Arts for a free concert featuring faculty members from the Des Moines Symphony Academy. As the newly formed Academy Chamber Players, Des Moines Symphony musicians John Helmich, Charles Miranda, and Mary Pshonik, along with guest pianist Ray Songayllo, will perform Brahms’s Piano Quartet in G Minor, Op. 25. The concert also features pianists Asia Brutian-Grant and Ray Songayllo performing works by Rachmaninoff, Piazzolla and Shostakovitch. John Helmich, Charles Miranda, Mary Pshonik, and Asia Brutian-Grant are all members of the faculty at the Des Moines Symphony Academy. The concert is open to the public and free to attend.
