Most memorable experience with the Orchestra

Many: Ray Charles turned toward the audience and all he said was "Man, man you Des Moines cats -- you've got it on!" David Loebel guest conducting Copland's Third Symphony, the beautiful French soprano Claudette Carlson singing Strauss. Most if not all of Joe Giunta's programming!

How I got started playing my instrument

I started the harp when I was 9 years old, an old lever harp tucked away behind a chalk board at May Morley Elementary School in Lincoln, Neb.

Other than classical music _____ is on my iPod

Jazz, traditional blues, Celtic, Broadway and many types of world music.
