Des Moines Symphony Academy Day 2014: Sun Mar 16

The Des Moines Symphony celebrates its second annual Des Moines Symphony Academy Day with free tickets for the first 200 students (ages 7-18) for the Sunday, March 16 Moldau & Dvorak concert, featuring Des Moines Symphony Orchestra Principal Percussionist Aaron WilliamsComplimentary tickets must be requested at the Civic Center Ticket Office by Wed Mar 12. Limit of four tickets per family or group.

“These free tickets allow kids who may have never heard a professional orchestra to experience it live,” said Symphony Academy Managing Director Joshua Barlage.

“The Des Moines Symphony Academy is a community of musical excellence, and education is at the heart of what we do. We want kids in the Des Moines community to be able to experience this great music. It will be an enriching experience with memories to last a lifetime.”
