Join us for a daylong event designed for Conductors and featuring world-renowned Conductor Christopher Seaman, Conductor Laureate for Life of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, former Principal Conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony and former Music Director of the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra.
This event is presented in conjunction with Mr. Seaman’s appearance as Guest Conductor with the Des Moines Symphony.
Maestro Class Schedule of Events:
- Observe Mr. Seaman in a rehearsal setting by attending his morning dress rehearsal with the Des Moines Symphony.
- Share in a thought provoking afternoon conversation led by Mr. Seaman with lively discussion topics to include the roles of being a Music Director and a Guest Conductor and the repertoire for his concert with the Des Moines Symphony.
- Finish your day by attending the Des Moines Symphony’s Stravinsky’s Petrouchka Masterworks Concert. All registered participants will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the Des Moines’s Saturday evening performance.
