Join us for an event designed for Conductors and featuring celebrated Conductor Gerard Schwarz, Music Director of the All-Star Orchestra and Eastern Music Festival and Conductor Laureate of the Seattle Symphony.

This event is presented in conjunction with Mr. Schwarz’s appearance as Guest Conductor with the Des Moines Symphony.

Maestro Class Schedule of Events:

5:30-6:30 p.m.
Share in a thought provoking conversation led by Mr. Schwarz with lively discussion topics to include the roles of being a Music Director and a Guest Conductor and the repertoire for his concert with the Des Moines Symphony.

7:00 p.m.
Observe Mr. Schwarz in a rehearsal setting by attending that evening’s dress rehearsal with the Des Moines Symphony.

Maestro Class attendees will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the Des Moines Symphony’s Schwarz Conducts Bernstein Masterworks Concert for either Sat Feb 16 or Sun Feb 17, 2019.
