Ride your bike to Water Works Pops
On July 14 and 28, the Symphony will play free community concerts in the new Water Works Park Amphitheater. A FREE bike valet operated by the Street Collective of Greater Des Moines allows cyclists to ride their bikes to Water Works Pops and park safely during the concert. This free service is operated and monitored by Street Collective staff.
Cyclists park their bikes on special racks in the bike corral, which is in a secure, safe area. In addition to free parking, the Bike Valet also offers an air pump and mini tire changing workshops.
The Water Works Pops Bike Valet is open 5:00-10:30pm on Sunday, July 14 during Renée Elise Goldsberry at Water Works Pops and again Sunday, July 28 for A John Williams Spectacular. The bike valet will be located on the east side of the park near the stage; follow directional signs once you enter the park.
