- Title Development Manager
Since joining the Des Moines Symphony in 2025, Blake has served as Development Manager, advancing the Symphony & Academy's mission through donor engagement, stewardship, and community and foundation partnerships that sustain the organization's educational and artistic programs. He is deeply passionate about connecting the Central Iowa community to the power of the arts.
Outside the office, he is deeply engaged in the Des Moines arts community. He is an avid performer in local theatre and serves as the Director of Training for the Cloris Leachman Excellence in Theatre Arts Awards. In this role, he supports artistic growth and celebrates theatrical achievement across the region's eleven theatre companies.
