From the New World
Sterling Elliott makes his Des Moines debut performing Haydn’s elegant Cello Concerto in D Major. Coleridge-Taylor’s The Song of Hiawatha and Dvořák's New World Symphony bookend the concert, celebrating the rich tapestry of American musical expression.
Tickets
Single Tickets start at $22 and are available through Des Moines Performing Arts Ticket Office. Ticket prices are subject to a $5 increase on the day of the concert, excluding student rush tickets. Tickets purchased online or over the phone are subject to per ticket convenience fees. Fees vary by performance and ticket price. Tickets purchased at the Civic Center and Temple Ticket Offices are not subject to per ticket convenience fees.
Flex 4 Packages include four tickets that can be mixed-and-matched. Use them at one concert, use one ticket to hear four different concerts, or any other combination. Vouchers can be redeemed in person at the Civic Center Ticket Office or by calling 515.246.2300. Season Ticket Package prices are inclusive of all Civic Center handling fees.
Student Tickets are $7.50-$35 and are available through the Civic Center Ticket Office. Student rush tickets, subject to availability, are $5 for junior high and high school students and $10 for all other students the day of the concert through the Civic Center Ticket Office. One ticket sold per valid Student ID.

Join us 45 minutes before the concert in the Prairie Meadows (East) Lobby for a free Concert Prelude Talk. Led by Dr. Eric McIntyre of Grinnell College, these discussions are complimentary to ticket holders and offer engaging and topical commentary on the featured program.
