Join us for an event designed for conductors and music students featuring Conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Distinguished Resident Director of Orchestras at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and Music Director Laureate of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. 

This event is presented in conjunction with Miguel Harth-Bedoya’s appearance as Guest Conductor with the Des Moines Symphony.

Observe Miguel Harth-Bedoya in a rehearsal setting by attending that morning’s dress rehearsal with the Des Moines Symphony.

12:30pm
Share in a thought-provoking conversation with Miguel Harth-Bedoya on the roles of music director and guest conductor.  Participants will have the opportunity to submit other discussion topics prior to the event.

Maestro Class attendees will receive a complimentary ticket to attend that weekend’s Love – Romeo & Juliet Masterworks concert. This event is free to attend but registration is required.
