Andrew Shinn received his bachelor’s degree in cello performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music where he studied with Dr. Melissa Kraut. He completed his master’s degree in cello performance at DePaul University with Brant Taylor. Andrew is also a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy where he studied with Crispin Campbell.
Andrew teaches at City Strings and Piano in Chicago, and joined the symphony in 2023.
