Ring in the season with the brilliant sound of the Des Moines Symphony’s powerful brass section! Holiday favorites like Joy to the World, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and Sleigh Ride fill Westminster Presbyterian, where the magnificent Dobson Pipe Organ joins timpani, percussion, and soaring brass for a joyful, family-friendly celebration.

Joseph Giunta Conductor

His musical depth combined with his boundless energy and contagious enthusiasm makes him one of the most respected and successful orchestra leaders in the United States.

Juli Bey

Juli Bey Organist, Westminster Presbyterian Church

Juli Bey is a keyboardist and church musician who’s worked with congregations around the Midwest and internationally for over thirty years. Based in Iowa since 2013, she has accompanied numerous choirs and musical theater productions, played for solo and American Guild of Organist recitals, and been a featured performer for programs on KCCI and Iowa Public television. She holds a music degree from Central College with an emphasis on sacred music and organ performance.

Juli currently serves as the organist and handbell choir director at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Des Moines. She also sits on the executive committee of the Central Iowa American Guild of Organists and is one of the founding teachers with the Grinnell School of Music, a non-profit aiming to make quality music instruction accessible to people in Grinnell and surrounding areas. This will be her Des Moines Symphony Orchestra debut.
