Symphony with a Twist: Virtual Donor Lounge

Members of the Maestro’s Circle are invited to join us us at our virtual donor lounge – Symphony with a Twist! Bring your questions and raise a glass at this live Zoom event where Maestro Giunta will be joined by special guests Des Moines Symphony clarinetist Clarence Padilla and Des Moines Symphony Foundation Board President Dr. Stephen C. Smith.

Symphony with a Twist will begin with a short cocktail class. This month's featured cocktail is Chartreuse Smash.

Chartreuse Smash
10 mint leaves
1oz lemon juice
2tsp sugar
2oz green Chartreuse
1 sprig mint (garnish)

Place mint, lemon and sugar into a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add chartreuse and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a glass of crushed ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
